     5. Vga : Komponen berfungsi untuk membantu komputer menghasilkan keluaran Display

     6.  Lan Card : Komponen komputer yang berfungsi untuk membantu komputer berinteraksi dengan network local.

     7. FAN (kipas) : komponen komputer yang berfungsi untuk membuang udara panas dari komputer

        Input device adalah salahsatu perangkat keras komputer yang berfungsi sebagai unit pemasukan data yang membantu komputer dalam melakukan proses input data. 

        Contohnya : Keyboard (membantu memasukkan data berupa huruf , angka dan symbol) , Mouse (membantu dalam penggerakan cursor), Joystick (membantu dalam penggerakan karakter saat bermain game) ,Microfone (membantu pemasukan data suara),Scanner (pemasukan data gambar dari luar) dan lain lain.

    2. OUTPUT DEVICE (PERANGKAT KELUARAN)

        Output device adalah salahsatu device komputer yang berfungsi untuk menampilkan hasil keluaran dari pemrosesan data.

        Contoh : Speaker,headset (keluaran data suara) , Monitor,Proyektor (keluaran data gambar) , Printer (keluaran data berupa kertas) dan lain lain.

    3. PERIPHERAL (PERANGKAT TAMBAHAN)

        Peripheral adalah perangkat tambahan komputer yangbisa membantu komputer dalam melakukan aktifitas baik input output maupun proses. 

        Contoh : Modem (membantu komputer berkoneksi dgn internet) , VGA card (membantu mengubah sinyal digital menjadi display untuk ditampilkan) , Sound card (membantu menghasilkan data suara) , Printer , dan lain lain.

    4. STORAGE DEVICE (PERANGKAT PENYIMPANAN)

        Storage device adalah device komputer yang berfungsi untuk membantu komputer dalam melakukan penyimpanan data.

       Contoh : Flash Disk, Hardisk, dan perangkat penyimpanan lainnya

     Komputer berasal dari kata compare yang artinya menghitung. Definisi komputer : Komputer adalah kumpulan alat elektronik yang saling bekerjasama membentuk suatu sistem, sehingga dapat melakukan Input , procces, dan output serta dapat menyimpan data (storage)

     Sejarah Komputer dari generasi ke generasi dimulai  dari :

     1. Generasi Pertama (1944-1959)

      

Komputer Generasi pertama

     Komputer pada generasi pertama (ENIAC) menggunakan Tube Vacum sehingga komputer generasi pertama ukurannya sangat besar ,dan menggunan silinder magnetic untuk menyimpan data.

2. Generasi kedua (1960-1964)

Komputer Generasi kedua

    Komputer pada generasi kedua sudah mengalami kemajuan ,pada generasi ini komputer menggunakan Transistor . Transistor terdiri dari 3 lapis (basic>collector>emmiter) , Transistor adalah suatualat semikonduktor yang di gunakan untuk penguat, circuit pemutus dan penyambung (switching) stabilitas,tegangan,penguat sinyal atau yang lainya. Dan Transistorlah yang menjadi ciri khas komputer generasi kedua

3.Generasi Ketiga (1964-1975)

Komputer Generasi ketiga

     Komputer pada generasi ketiga juga mengalami perkembangan. Pada Komputer generasi ketiga sudah tidak menggunakan transistor lagi . melainkan IC (integrated Circuit). Integrated Circuit adalah gabungan dari ribuan transistor yang digabungkan dan berbentuk semakin kecil.

4. Generasi keempat (1975-Sekarang)

     Dan sampailah kepada generasi keempat, Komputer Generasi Keempat mempunya ciri khas menggunakan Microprocessor yang merupakan hasil pemadatan ribuan IC. pada generasi ini komputer juga sudah mulai menggunakan sistem operasi.

5. Generasi Kelima (Sekarang-Masa Depan)

     Komputer generasi kelima adalah komputer yang sudah banyak sekali digunakan di tahun 2016 ini . Hardware" komputer juga sudah berkembang, jenis-jenis processor, dan juga VGA pun berkembang . Banyak juga perusahaan perusahaan baru telah merilis komputernya seperti Toshiba, Dell,Alienware,Asus,Acer,Samsung dan banyak lagi . tentunya dengan spesifikasi yang berbeda. Komputer generasi ini berspesifikasi minimal PENTIUM 4. dan laptop pun berkembang hingga sekarang muncul banyak sekali laptop" Gaming yang membuat kitan gelus dada karena harga dan spesifikasinya
